you must become a member of freecylce to take full advantage of this resource. It's free. The purpose of freecycle is to keep usable items out of the land fills. I have used the one in Woodbridge, VA and got rid of all types of items including a sofa sleeper. I have recieved a buffet in near perfect condition and a nice writing desk- both free.
