March of Dimes
Originally the "polio foundation", the March of Dimes didn't throw in the towel once it accomplished its goal of defeating polio. It became the champion foundation for healthy babies - funds go to research to prevent premature birth, birth defects, pregnancy and infant loss and help all women have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
