MomItForward - Nashville Rescue Mission Project

After BlissDom09 MomItForward arranged for a service project at the Nashville Rescue Mission. That morning we volunteered to help prepare for lunch. Our main job was chopping vegetables and preparing the salads. The people there were amazing and we even got a little tour of the facility.

Thanks Rebecca and Josh! Oh my gosh was that a lot of chopped vegetables or what! We received word that the Nashville Rescue Mission was able to give one of the sets of ScanPan Cookware sets to a woman who has graduated from their program, has gotten back with her ex-husband and they are getting re-married, this was their first wedding present!!!

This experience was so much fun and it was also for a great cause. It's amazing how much closer you feel to people when you are helping others..together. Thanks Jyl and MomItForward, what a great project and what a fantastic day.
