Creamy Pesto Chicken

This is a recipe for the Old Spaghetti Factory Creamy Pesto Salad Dressing. I have never actually used it as just a salad dressing.... I marinade it overnight and then cook it over chicken. It has been a huge hit every time!!

Ingredients

3/4 Cup(s)Oil
1 Cup(s)Mayo
3/4 Cup(s)Buttermilk
2 Tablespoon(s)Grated Romano Cheese
2 Tablespoon(s)Crushed Dried Basil
1/2 Teaspoon(s)Salt
1 Clove Minced Garlic
1/4 Teaspoon(s)Paprika (optional - I don't use)
4 Skinless/Boneless Chicken Breasts
Hot Pepper Sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together oil and mayonnaise.
  2. Add buttermilk, cheese, basil, salt, garlic and hot pepper sauce to taste. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Put Chicken in a 13X9 pan. Pour Dressing over Chicken.
  4. Cover and let flavors meld overnight in refrigerator.
  5. Preheat oven to 350. Cook for approx. 30 min. or when Chicken is done.

I made this the other day and it's so good and except for being a little thicker it tastes just like Sp. Factory! Thanks!!

Can't wait to try it, we always talk about wishing they would bottle and sell this stuff! Sounds so yummy!!
