Canon Cameras

If you are looking for an entry level point and shoot camera or an SLR, you can't go wrong with Canon. The Powershot series is easy to use, has excellent picture quality and is affordable. If you want more control & better quality, the Rebel SLR is a great option. Of course they have my favorite pro camera bodies and lenses if you're looking for a top of the line set up. Be sure to buy a high capacity memory card and extra battery so you don't need to charge up as just as junior hits a major milestone!

Definitely - the difference is amazing when you start using an SLR. Funny thing for us - we were pro photographers for so long we actually prefer our Powershot simply because it fits in a backpack along with all the other junk you lug around with little ones! But we still pull out the SLR for special occasions. If you are in the market for a lens, I can't say enough about the quality of canon's pro lenses. They don't disappoint!

We spluged on a Canon Rebel XSi at xmas, now we need a nice lens. Love the camera, takes amazing photos and we have a nice point and shoot Canon, but the difference is amazing and we still don't really know all the features. Still love my Elf for quick videos and it's pocket size.
