Who doesn't want a slurpee on an exceptionally hot afternoon? Ease up on the organic veggies and let your kids have a treat. We ride bikes to the one near us a couple times a month for ice cream or the famous sugar-laced slushy beverage. It's about building fun memories, not healthy bodies. We do enough of that already to throw caution to the wind now and again in the name of fun, eh?

I would give ANYTHING for an ICEE - of course, Porterville doesn't have a 7-11 - I know - go figure! :)

I agree, we need to lighten up every now and then. Josh got inspired by this today and decided to take Aaron to get an icee while I went to Safeway :)

My mom loved 7-11 slurpees, as of course did my brother and I...one of my favorite memories with her!
