Legos

Legos. What child doesn't love 'em? Boy, girl, dad... keep all of them occupied while you make dinner, or lay on the couch for five seconds, or jump on MomFavs. We started playing Legos when our boys were 3 and 1 1/2. You'd be shocked to see what they can build unassisted just by being creative - it's a great brain activity among a million other things!!

My only baby, 14 in Sep, loves his Legos. Loves checking out the Lego cat when it comes in the mail. Also has me order bits and pieces on the website.

DH and I both loved Legos so much when we were kids. DS is only 1 right now so the little Legos are a bit too advanced for him, but that doesn't keep us from stocking up when we see garage sale bags and bins of them! I can't wait until our boy will find them fascinating and build his own magical worlds.

Our 4 year old just seemed to find a whole new interest in these this year. His older cousin has a bunch and if he isn't playing with race cars he is finding some of his cousins less "valuable" Legos. :)
