Baby's Upset Tummy

At about 6 weeks my perfect newborn started to scream and become very fussy! While talking with other moms, I was told to eliminate dairy from my diet (since I was nursing). The first day I saw improvement, with in 3 days it was almost gone. I then eliminated soy and then it was gone entirely! The intolerance to dairy usually is until the baby is 7-8 months, although it can be longer. I LOVE dairy, but for my baby's tummy and my sanity...WELL WORTH THE SACRIFICE!!!

Ingredients

NO Dairy (check all labels)
NO Soy (check all labels - it is in everything!!)

Instructions

  1. First try eliminating Dairy for 3 days.. if there is improvement but not totally then start eliminating soy also (and so on). If there is no improvement add the dairy back and try eliminating soy (and so on).
  2. The most common culprits include cows' milk products, followed by soy, wheat, egg, nuts, and corn or corn syrup. I have also been told spicy things, citrus things (which includes tomato and cucumbers!!!) :) as well as beans and broccoli.

It's true. I avoided Spicy foods while breastfeeding and I did it for a year. It really helped my daughter.

A lot of people will not believe that this will help (or that it was the elimination of certain things that helped), but this completely changed my baby, my sweet baby was back. Mommy and baby were so much happier!!
