Is this possible instead of immediately accepting them as a friend when you click on the email link? |

February 14, 2009 at 06:56 PM Is there a way to search for people by their moniker? I'm getting friend requests for IRL names, but only know them by their Twitter or blog name. Emails for friend requests come with IRL names too. I realize that some use IRL names and some don't. |

February 13, 2009 at 09:28 PM I can't seem to upload a photo. I am able to change from the M avatar to a bag avatar, but I can't get the jpg to show up. I've cleared my cache, so I don't think that's it. |

February 13, 2009 at 08:57 PM So how about a place to click on your profile that lists your recent posts that were faved. I was just faved about 10 times and didn't want to have to open each e-mail and then click a link. |

February 9, 2009 at 02:36 PM I just created a group that was not location based and the form didn't let me save without a number zip code. I plugged in 00000, but I'm not sure that's an ideal fix. |

We're also creating a MomFaves widget builder so moms will have something fun to put on their site or blog that shows their recently faves, most popular, etc...Thanks for the idea! July 27, 2008 at 08:50 PM Ok Y'all! We've made the following improvements to the site: 1. You can set your profile privacy setting to control who can view it (click "Profile" then "edit"); 2. We are now sending ONE daily email with a summary of activity that relates to you or your girlfriends; 3. We created a "Mom" directory so it's easier to find and search for moms; 4. You can now invite someone to join a group you belong to when viewing their profile (below their picture, click "Invite to Group"). June 11, 2008 at 10:53 AM MommyLuv asked about instant messaging. I love the idea! It's a fairly complex feature to develop and would take some time/$$ to implement. I will add this to the list of future features. We are working on a way for moms to choose the option of having only 1 email per day (like a digest email) that will include all of their activity in one message. June 11, 2008 at 09:07 AM I'm receiving messages saying so-n-so would like to be added as my friend but then nothing is added on my profile from that person. Is this a glitch or am I overlooking something. There isn't anything attached in the email I receive either? |

June 9, 2008 at 11:49 AM Hi guys! I'm having issues with my kids' birthdays - they're all coming up wrong... a couple of months off. Brock's is showing "unknown". Of course I know his birthday! :) Is it just a glitch on my profile? I even deleted them, and redid them, and it's the same. |

June 4, 2008 at 06:32 PM I have worked on uploading photos more than once. I have tried one photo, several photos. I have waited for the "done" on the bottom of the screen. Then nothing happens. I was able to upload my profile photo. I can create an album and it says I have not added photos. |

June 4, 2008 at 04:19 PM Thank you for the heads up about trouble uploading photos. Our team is looking into why this is happening. We think the "Please wait while your pictures upload" message is not appearing and moms are giving up waiting. Depending on the size of each and how many of the photos you upload, it may take up to a minute. I'll let you know for sure...Hope this helps!~~Josh (Founder) |

May 31, 2008 at 11:32 PM Suz asked about the ability to submit a fave under more than one sub-category. Although not available now, this is a great idea that we will take into consideration. In the meantime, we recommend picking the one that most closely matches your submission. If your fave does fit more than one category (i.e. wellness and medical), remember that it is included under a single fave topic (i.e. CAUSE). So, whether you choose to submit a wellness or a medical related cause, moms looking for either will most likely discover your fave because they are related. |

May 30, 2008 at 08:58 AM Mamabyrd asked about us being able to delete faves. Currently, faves cannot be deleted, just edited. To get around deleting it, you can edit the one you wanted to delete with information on a new fave in that category. Hope this helps.. |

May 21, 2008 at 04:08 PM Good question Kerrie (KCJ)!! We are still tweaking the algorithm that generates the Top 10 List on the homepage. Currently, there are a # of things that influence it and the goal is to keep it fresh and changing so the list doesn't become stagnate (which may not seem like a big issue now, but when we have LOTS of moms submitting LOTS of faves it becomes a problem b/c of the likelihood that the top 10 will NEVER CHANGE b/c of its exposure on the homepage. Currently some of the factors that influence it are the total # of faves and also how fast the item is being faved by other members within a certain time period (today we just switched that time period from 15 minutes to 1 day to see if that helps). The idea is to expose the Most Popular or "Hottest" faves for all topics in the homepage top 10 list. Also, the home page top 10 is calculated differently than your profile top 10 (which is based on total # of faves alone). What do you think of all that? Any thoughts? We will continue to watch this issue so that |
