February 14, 2009 at 07:05 PM Confessions: January 22, 2009 Apparently, around 4 PM is what I like to call my “Bewitching Hour”---where I freeze like an icicle, curling up into an air-tight ball, and revisit my happy place. Right about now, I want to pull my hair out, scream at the top of my lungs and run around in circles- ALL at the same time. In other words, I’m willingly checking myself in to the white, CLEAN, nice and quiet padded room---and I’m not coming out until I regain my sanity! I literally just stood outside for the last 15 minutes, in the dark, mosquito-bitten, waiting for those bright headlights that shine down our dark street every night around 6:30, like a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel---my husband. Hooray! Hoorah! Time for my nice long soak in the garden bath, accompanied by candlelight and a good book…in silence. Rub-a-dub-dub, Kristin’s in the tub! |
